Meet the Author - George Culling
27 September 2017

Fifty-seven people came to hear George talk about his latest book ‘Tales of Lancasters  and other aircraft.’   He told us about his own experiences as a Navigator, as well as tales he had collected from other air crew and pilots. One gentleman, who had had a stroke, sent him his story printed in capital letters, just two weeks before publication.  George also quoted some cliffhangers which meant we needed to read the book to find out whether the hero lived or died.  George took questions from the floor before selling signed copies of his book, while the audience chatted over glasses of wine. A very successful evening.

Author talk by David Gilbertson
8 November 2017

David gave a very interesting talk about his new novel ‘The Path of Deception’ to an appreciative audience of thirty-eight.  He gave us a fascinating insight into real police situations that had been discussed at HQ.  For those of us who had read the book, it made it all the more scary.  David took questions from the floor then sold all the signed copies of his book he had brought with him.  He kindly donated a copy to the library.
